Can you say LOVE!!! Because that is how I feel about this little Christmas outfit!!! <3 Isn't it absolutely adorable! Olivia and I did our ceremonial jump up and down around the kitchen when we opened the package. We both get sooo excited when we get a package in the mail from Outtahand Creations! Just a quick hello! The holiday season is quickly passing us by! Halloween monday, counting the days until Turkey Day and Christmas! I cannot wait to spend time with my sweet family this year. I need it. I need to lie on the couch stuffed to the max watching a football game I care nothing about. Good times. This is life. Enjoy every minute.
Last weeks Chiggerfest was a huge success for our buddies Delta CrossRoads Band and all of our friends in Cooper, Texas. Miss Olivia was there cheering them on in our new favorite OuttaHand Creation from our sweet friend Renee. By the way, she has some really exciting new things coming for Christmas, so keep your eyes peeled!

Yes, I know. I am dreadfully behind posting. I’m sorry. But look! Cute kids!

You may recognize these two cuties. Their mom has been bringing them to see me for a while now. Which is always a treat for me because a.) they’re twins! And who doesn’t love twins! b.) They are adorable. c.) Mom has mad style. d.) this family loves pictures as much as I do! SCORE!
Btw, mom and dad are the terribly attractive couple that I did a couple of months ago for their 10 year anni!
At the end of the day, it’s folks like this that make me want to do what I do.

Is it wrong that I think we have the absolute most beautiful babies in the world? I do. Really. I am so in love with these kids. Obsessed may be more accurate. They are stubborn, rotten, ornery, everything we raised them to be really, but they are precious. I love them so much it hurts. So, for those of you who don’t know, this is my Olivia and my sisters oldest baby. They are about 6 months apart, and man are we going to be in trouble. You’d think they were brother and sister. Man, can they cook up some plans. When I don’t want to put them over my knee, they make me smile and remember exactly what they are thinking. I too, was once one of two very mischievous children. We thought we would rule the world. And the worst that ever happened was a black eye… sorry Shannon.

You’ve seen Miss “H” here before, if you’ve spent much time on my site. We sort of have an ongoing senior session. I’m assuming it will last all of her senior year! I just adore her. Just beautiful, even when I see her without hair and makeup. And what’s better? She’s even more beautiful on the inside. Sweetest kid you’ll ever meet.
It’s funny. We were talking just the other day about “H” being one of the very first kids I photographed. I think she was seven. And now she’s a senior. Gaw, not sure whether to feel old or accomplished! Either way, I have a blast every time I work with this child. Thanks Miss “H”, hope you love them!

I can’t get enough of this baby girl. Not only is she the cah-utest baby ever, she’s super baby too! At 8 months this child is standing, pulling up, and says momma. Seriously, that last one is unheard of. What else – her mom is super crafty and puts together awesome outfits. Oh and the whole family is sweet as sugar. Who’s the lucky photographer now!!! Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE my clients? Well, there ya go. It’s true!

Beautiful children just run in this family. Oh wait, maybe I’m just partial… nah, they’re beautiful! Meet my little cousins. They are as precious as they are gorgeous! I keep trying to figure out how to make them mine without their parents going all crazy on me!
So we had a beautiful day, with fun props and had an absolute blast. I dreamed of doing this idea with these kids, and it worked just perfectly. Love them.

This is proving to be a busy fall, full of wonderful sessions with beautiful people. I love it. But, FYI if you haven’t booked your fall/Christmas sessions, now is the time. We are running out of time!

My aunt has been wanting to do these for a long time. Apparently the cotton doesn’t care about photos, and is only perfect for about one day out of the year. So after 6 months of planning, trying to beat combines, read farmers’ minds and shooting at midday, we were successful! Well worth the wait. An absolutely lovely day spent with two adorable babies and the worlds best “ma dot”, or as Olivia calls her, “my dot”. And a lot of people share that same thought.
Ma Dot actually did pick cotton around these parts a few years back. As a child really. She says that after she became a teenager, she would go from farm to farm weighing cotton, no doubt the better gig. Everyone agrees we need to send one of these pictures to the Detroit Times. My dear Steaven thinks I should add the title “Detroit Woman Out-picks Combine”. Terribly suiting, I agree.

Looks like Renee over at Outtahand Creations has been busy! She’s already putting out her fall line! I was lucky enough to get to photograph the first couple of outfits yesterday! They are so adorable. She is such a fabulous designer and seamstress to boot. I’ve said it before, but the quality just blows me away. You can’t find quality like this in stores folks! She really knows what she’s doing! She’s got more late fall outfits and Christmas stuff as well coming up, so stay tuned!
